"The foreign publishers will present about 50,000 titles at the fair, compared to 45,000 titles last year," Yasser Ahmadvand told IRNA.

"From May 13 to 15, we will host a program titled Iran's Publication in the Foreign Sector" . The event aims to introduce Iranian publications to foreign publishers. Approximately 20 publishers and literary agents (literary agencies) will attend the event. During the three-day trip, participants will visit printing facilities and bookstores. We hope that the event will serve as a starting point for learning more about Iranian publishing and books," he said.

Regarding the various cultural programs planned for this duration of the book fair, Ahmadvand stated: "In this edition, two special programs have been planned, one is related to the people of Gaza, and the other one is centered around women and girls" .

The 35th edition of the TIBF, themed "Let's Read and Create," will also take place electronically on ketab.ir.

This edition of the book expo features Yemen as a special guest.

The TIBF, Iran's biggest book trade fair, has become a landmark, historic book fair in West Asia after 34 editions in a row. Millions of people visit the fair each year, including thousands of university students, academics, and their families.

The cultural festival is currently considered the most important cultural event in Iran. On average, 2,500 domestic publishers take part in the landmark event. Foreign publishers primarily supply materials in English or Arabic, while volumes in French, German, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese are also accessible.
